Traditional Fibre Sand & Cement screed
Standard cement / sand screeds are a layer of material laid in situ and consist of bonded, unbonded, floating and heated construction. The screeding system is used for obtaining a defined level to receive final floor coverings such as ceramics, stone, carpet, linoleum, wood flooring, etc.
Traditional screeds can be used in hospitals, airports, schools, sports facilities, retail, residential dwellings and more. Traditional screeding can be produced either at a ready mix plant from various suppliers or on site using a forced action mixer, generally a screed pump.
CSC Screeding Ltd use screed pumps for all cementitious screeds and find this to give flexibility on site. The flexibility of site mixing has an advantage whereby variations in the substrate can often result in huge variances of material requirements. A screed pump has a 260 litre mixing vessel and having carefully calculated the volume to allow for the reduction due to mixing arms, blades, central bar and of course the void, we know just how much material is required to ensure the cement is gauged and therefore guarantee our mix will be as BS 8204 Part 1 2003. General mix proportions consist of either 1:3 or 1:4 Cement / Sand ratios.
A semi-dry cementitious screed incorporating proprietary additives to produce an early drying, high strength screed.
Standard Isocrete K-Screed and Heavy Duty Isocrete K-Screed may be laid bonded, unbonded or floating (for weight saving and thermal or sound insulation) and may be used with proprietary underfloor heating systems.
Isocrete Composite K-Screed is a topping of Standard Isocrete K-Screed laid over a base of lightweight aggregate used for weight saving e.g. on roofs.
Tarmac Truflow Self Levelling Screed is highly versatile and can be applied as a bonded screed, unbonded screed or as a floating screed over thermal or sound insulation. It is also ideal for use in conjunction with most underfloor heating systems.
It is suitable for use in most commercial and domestic buildings in both new build and refurbishment applications and can be readily applied over installed electrical and other services.
GYVLON FLOWING SCREED is a blend of GYVLON BINDER and selected aggregates mixed with clean potable water to produce a flowing pumpable screed.
GYVLON FLOWING SCREED is designed to provide a smooth level surface in both commercial and domestic buildings prior to the application of floor finishes and is particularly suitable to application as a floating screed and for use with underfloor heating systems.
Supaflo is a new generation screeding product which is a great step forward in that it gives more benefits to specifiers and increases design flexibility. For the contractor, it is a solution that is far easier to apply.
A flowing floor screed, Readymix Supaflo is based on calcium sulfate whereas traditional screeds are based on Portland cement. Ready to use, it offers great advantages.
