Hello everyone,
CSC has been extremely busy as investment continues to improve in the new home sector. We’ve been installing all types of thermal and acoustic insulations, DPMs and of course laying quite a lot of floor screed across the UK. Houses and apartment blocks appear to be selling faster than they can be built, and we are completely relishing the fast paced activity. Our operatives have been installing thousands and thousands of square meters of screed over the past twelve months, and our fleet of screed pumps are pumping away as if there is no tomorrow.
We take extreme pride in our work and we’ve always believed that success is all about the detail. Ensuring the correct lapping of DPMs and the close

butt jointing of thermal insulation, laying the perimeter strip to the external walls with precision to prevent cold bridging, lapping acoustic layers to prevent sound transmission, paying attention to penetrations and perimeter strips, taping of all joints – there are quite a lot of details that we routinely cover in the drill before we start the actual screeding and pumping process. And we believe it is this attention to precision that makes all the difference to the work we deliver.
We recently updated our Robust Detail Accreditation after completing a Thermal Economics training on the installation of IsoRubber acoustic layers.
Our expanding team and growing fleet of screed pumps is a testament to the unstinted belief our clients have put in us, and we will continue in our pursuit of excellence and hope to become the most technically advanced screeding company in the UK.
