CSC Screeding have completed our first floor screed installation of 3,000sm at the Westfield Shopping Centre next to the Olympic Park in Stratford.
With the screed depth being specified at +150mm, the screed technicians installed it in layers which were rolled for compaction and raked for the next layer so the screed is installed ‘fresh on fresh’. The surface was then power floated ready for the final floor finshes.
The installation at Stratford City, the largest urban shopping centre in Europe with approximately 1.9 million square foot of retail and leisure space, used FlexiDry F3 fast drying screed which will dries to allow the floor tiles to be laid after just 21 days.
