AcellorMittal looking West to the City
Wondering what to do over the Easter Bank Holiday? Last week the ArcelorMittal Orbit opened to the public. We urge you to go and see this incredible sculpture and climb up to the observation decks to experience the breathtaking views across the City skyline from the vantage point of the observation decks.
Whatever your views on the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the views from the sculpture are amazing. We are very proud to have been part of this project. CSC screeded the observation decks using : 26 tonnes of screed, over 510sq m in 5 days in plummeting temperatures. Did we mention we also had to do this at 110m in the air on a sloping structure supported by temporary scaffolding?
