Structural Screed Advice

The shear and compressive forces are carried out through the in-situ structural screed by shear friction, wedging and/or bearing.  The strength of the precast is generally between 40 and 60N/mm² and the structural topping is 25-30N/mm².  Precise specification should be sought from an engineer/architect with design responsibility and professional indemnity to ensure correct calculations have been made.

Structural floor screeds can be produced either at a ready mix plant from various suppliers or on site using a forced action mixer, generally a screed pump.

Please telephone the office on 0330 223 2364 and speak to one of the team.  Structural screed requires careful consideration prior to specification, CSC Screeding have robust experience in this area of the market.

Our Accreditations

CSC Screeding are members of Constructionline, CHAS and Builders Profile where a predefined Health & Safety questionnaire is pre-completed and our clients have direct access to the information. Documents contained in the pre-qualification system are updated throughout the year, ensuring continued compliance. We have focused on developing the business through constant innovation, implementation and collaboration.

We were an early adopter of FORS – gaining Bronze accreditation – as we recognised this would become more widely requested on construction sites.

We are now ready for the business to grow with the increasing demand.
